Project Overview
The Marigold Infrastructure project involves the design and construction of Edmonton’s Valley Line West Light Rail Transit (LRT), a transformative 14-kilometer transit corridor connecting downtown Edmonton to Lewis Farms. This initiative aims to enhance urban mobility, introduce modern low-floor vehicles, and elevate the overall public transit experience while minimizing disruption to existing infrastructure.

Scope
- Track Construction: 14 kilometers of LRT track stretching from downtown Edmonton to Lewis Farms
- Stops and Stations:
- 13 ground-level pedestrian stops (east and west platforms).
- 2 major elevated stations at West Edmonton Mall (WEM) and Misericordia Hospital, each featuring a three-story structure with the track on the third floor.
- Utility Complexes:
- 11 Power and Control Buildings (Utility Complexes), each managing a dedicated section of the track.
- Overhead Catenary System (OCS):
- Installation of poles and 750VDC overhead wires along the entire track to power the trains.
- Cable Tray Infrastructure:
- Integrated cable trays within the elevated guideway to support electrical and communication systems.
