BitFury Crypto
The Bitfury project in Medicine Hat was for the construction of a 60 megawatt crypto currency/data mining centre. Pronghorn Controls was the site
general contractor overseeing all electrical, civil and mechanical work
scopes and offering a turnkey solution to the customer. Pronghorn Controls’
responsibilities ranged from managing the screw piles , building the roads,
installing the data centres to connecting power to the substation. At the peak
of the project which took about four months, Pronghorn Controls had over
30 people on site. Pronghorn Controls was responsible for all communications and site safety. The project was completed on time, on budget with no
delays and no incidents.
